HaloVoice Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use HaloVoice. Otherwise, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Description of Service

HaloVoice provides AI-powered real-time voice translation, speech synthesis, captioning, and optional voice cloning features for streaming, meetings, gaming, and communication purposes.

Certain features may be offered under free or paid subscription tiers.

3. Privacy and Data Practices

You may provide certain information to HaloVoice in connection with your access to or use of the Services, or we may otherwise collect limited information about you when you access or use our Services. You agree to receive communications from HaloVoice via the Services using the email address or other contact information you provide in connection with the Services, including account notifications, billing information, service updates, and administrative messages. You represent and warrant that any information you provide to HaloVoice in connection with the Services is accurate and up to date.

Where you agree to these Terms on behalf of an entity or organization, you agree that the Data Processing Agreement governs HaloVoice's processing of any personal data contained within content you input into our Services.

You acknowledge that HaloVoice may process limited personal data relating to the operation, support, or use of our Services for legitimate business purposes, such as billing, account management, service analytics, benchmarking, fraud prevention, technical support, product improvement, research and development of service features, system security, and compliance with applicable law.

HaloVoice does not intentionally collect or sell personal private identity information. Voice or audio data is processed primarily to deliver the requested functionality of the Services and is not used to train global or shared AI models unless you have explicitly opted in. Where voice cloning features are enabled, voice recordings may be processed solely to create and maintain a personalized voice model for the relevant user, subject to user consent and applicable law.

HaloVoice is designed with privacy-by-default principles and aims to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where relevant.

4. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. User Content

"User Content" refers to any text, audio, or voice input you submit.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant HaloVoice a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

We do not sell user content to third parties.

6. Voice Cloning Rules

You agree that you will:

• Only clone voices you own or have explicit permission to use
• Not impersonate individuals without consent
• Not use voice cloning for fraud, harassment, or deception

HaloVoice reserves the right to disable voice models that violate these rules.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use HaloVoice to:

• Violate laws or regulations
• Generate harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
• Conduct scams or impersonation
• Infringe copyrights or privacy rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

8. Paid Services & Billing

Paid plans may include additional features such as higher translation limits, Pro Voice, or commercial usage rights.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the billing cycle ends. Refund policies may vary by jurisdiction.

9. Intellectual Property

All HaloVoice software, models, and platform technology remain the intellectual property of Halo AI Labs. You receive a limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

AI outputs may not always be accurate or suitable for professional reliance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaloVoice shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of California, except where local consumer protection laws apply.
